Having lost a father at the age of 13 years, as a young boy, Godfrey then fell in the full caring hands of her mother who has raised him into a responsible man, no wonder he involves a female figure in most of his subjects he paints, in this particular painting titled “ FEMALE WARRIORS” Godfrey narrates his story as he throws bright colors onto the canvas and lets the brush strokes dance their ways to express the role of a hardworking woman in African societies, the love for travel has led Godfrey to witness and discover that while men in African local/remote areas wake up on to fill up local brew bars women hit straight to gardens to do the farming and other related jobs that earn them money to take care of the family, men regard themselves as warriors who only engage in battles to defend their communities and properties, in most cattle raring communities they sleep in bush for weeks or months looking after their cattle. Godfrey in this painting echoes out a loud color voice to show how his Mother struggled to bring food on the table. Its such an erasable memories have inspired him to paint stories like this particular one to recognize the role of women in African societies.
